The common cold is a respiratory illness that affects the nose and throat. It is mostly caused by viruses known as rhinovirus.

Composition:
Each 5 ml suspension contains:

• Paracetamol IP 250 mg

Paracetamol, Phenylephrine, Chlorpheniramine & Menthol Suspension is a combination of paracetamol, phenylephrine hydrochloride, Chlorpheniramine Maleate, and Menthol. Paracetamol works by preventing the production of prostaglandins, which are responsible for fever and pain. Phenylephrine works by shrinking the blood vessels in the nasal passage. Chlorpheniramine works by blocking the action of histamine, which is responsible for causing allergic reactions. Menthol relieves minor irritation in the throat and provides a cooling sensation.
