Bacterial infection is a disease in which bacteria multiply inside the body and cause infection. It can infect any part of the body and many at once.
Mupirocin is an antibiotic that destroys the bacteria that infect the skin by inhibiting the production of essential proteins required for bacterial survival. Therefore, it inhibits the spread of skin infection.
