Aceclofenac, Paracetamol & Chlorzoxazone Tablets – This medicine is a combination of three drugs – Aceclofenac, Paracetamol, and Chlorzoxazone. Asvicroci MR comes under the family of Non-Steroidal Anti-Inflammatory Drugs. It is a Schedule H drug that helps to relive pain and inflammation. This combination of drugs is widely used for several conditions like inflammation, reduction of pain in bones and joint, arthritis, body ache, head ache, pain in the cervical area, fever, and pain during menstrual periods.

Composition:
Each film-coated tablet contains:

• Aceclofenac IP 100 mg

• Paracetamol IP 325 mg

• Chlorzoxazone USP 250 mg

How Does Aceclofenac, Paracetamol & Chlorzoxazone Tablets work?

This medicine is a combination of two pain reducers, Aceclofenac and paracetamol, and the third drug chlorzoxazone works as a muscle relaxant. Cyclo-oxygenase (COX) is a silkworm enzyme that induces pain and swelling on the injured tissue and the same is blocked by the use of Aceclofenac available in combination with the drug to reduce pain & swelling.

Paracetamol, the second salt in the drug, works as a pain & fever reducer, thus, being helpful in the fast recovery of wounds. The third salt Chlorzoxazone is prescribed to unwind certain muscles in your body and soothes the inconvenience caused by intense (short-term), painful muscle, or bone conditions. Ascicroci Mr should not be taken if you have any serious medical condition, severe kidney or liver disease, are planning to become pregnant or are pregnant. Also, consumption of alcohol should be avoided while taking this medicine as it may increase drowsiness and dizziness. So, driving a motor vehicle and operating heavy machinery should be avoided. Excess paracetamol intake can cause liver damage, so its dose should not exceed more than 4 gm per day.
